honeybees, actually, focus on one type of flower per hive, until that food source is exhausted (ie. due to a change in seasons). that is how honey can be labelled accurately as being from a specific source flower. their diet only changes when they have to switch to a new source of food. other than that, it is limited to nectar and pollen from just one type of flower at a time.

this, a lot. same sex loving parents versus the cold walls of the system. love that a few religious nuts deem invalid, versus no love at all. not even sure how adoption to gay couples can possibly be argued against on the basis of their sexuality.

there seems to be a popular sentiment that your acceptance of your mortality is "unfortunate" or somehow less courageous than the concept of not going "gentle into that good night". that if you don't fight against this kicking and screaming that you are somehow less brave. i think the fact that you have accepted that you are going to die is very brave. i don't know that i could ever accept it. your courage in dealing with death is inspiring. it would be lovely if your fortune changed and you beat this, but i wish you a painless and peaceful end.
