Ex bartender of 10 years here. We used to joke about that birthday line. Pretty much a go-to line when you cut someone off or ask them to leave (mainly women tbh). Sometimes they'd even say it knowing it probably wasn't going to work. "um, it's my birthday?"

I salute you man. I'm not a big dude (5'9" 170 lbs) and although I could usually handle myself when ejecting people or cutting them off, but damn a few good bouncers over the years have really saved my ass from situations that could have been a lot worse. Thanks for having our backs/we got yours.
