Living on the mighty mississippi, I naturally love your show. I have pulled some gar and catfish out of the river that are not too different than the exotic monsters you catch.

Have you ever heard the rumors of the Blue Catfish that live at the base of the dams around Quincy Il / Hannibal Missouri? Urban legends around these parts are always circulating, mentioning 6-9 foot monsters large enough to swallow an entire human whole.

Are you the one that was a raging alcoholic?

In your opinions, why do you think people are not as outraged, as they should be, about the current surveillance state? If you marginally change gun rights, everyone freaks out, shouting "2ND AMENDMENT! 2ND AMENDMENT!" Spy on EVERYONE in the world without a warrant? Nearly no one bats an eye. The online community may be exploding with objections, but where I'm from, rural Illinois, everyone kind of sticks to the "Well Im not doing anything wrong, so what do I care?"

Sweet! I have always hoped to talk to you. I loved your Youtube vids of the entire withdrawal process. Excuse my retardedness in not remembering your name, it comes with the territory. You are an inspiration to me in some ways...for one, I feel I cannot write music/stories without drinking...you seem to contradict my dilemma by retaining your humor and writing style even after your alcoholism.

Do you have any tips for aspiring artists (yes, you are an artist) that struggle with addiction?

EDIT: Apparently you are not him (thanks /u/brentapetrie). I remember watching his channel depicting his withdrawal and then reading his articles shortly after. Not much really changed, I was impressed.

Now I just feel like a fucktard. Better go grab a bottle.
