It seems like, with reduced quotas, boat repairs, etc., it gets more and more difficult to break even, much less make a profit, catching Alaskan crab. Where do you see the industry / fleet in 10 years? Will it just be a few huge boats who have purchased all the quotas from other boats, or do you see things easing up a bit for the boat owners / operators?

What does the Time Bandit do for its summer / off-season tenders? Can you tell us what life on the Time Bandit looks like / what y'all are doing on the boat from season to season over the course of the year?

Hey Scott,

I got my digital preorder download of /Awake/ in my e-mail today, and it sounds awesome. I'm looking forward to getting the actual CD in the mail over the next couple of days.

I saw the trailer for the "Unsound" documentary about the music industry that you were featured in (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/unsound). I also noticed that you tweeted the following 2 days ago: "Awake is nearly out worldwide. Please support independent art as opposed to downloading the album illegally."

Can you describe the effects illegal music downloading and piracy have on you, as an independent musician trying to make a living? I know one of the arguments made for such piracy is that you "get more fans" from people that listen to your music for the first time, that might buy your stuff or attend a show. We also hear that most money made by musicians these days is from touring and live shows.

Can you talk a little bit about the pressures you face relating to your music leaking early, being available to download online, etc.?
