Can they really just stop you and frisk you for no reason wherever they please?
They stopped and searched over 8% of the city's population last year. 4 out of 5 people stopped had nothing on them and were sent on their way. Everything I have read seems to suggest that it's based on reasonable suspicion, but the numbers (and numerous friskee anecdotes) make that pretty hard to believe-- especially when you consider that 87% of those stopped are African-American or latino.

I live in NYC, and I face (what I perceive to be) Fourth Amendment violations every day. How can any of the following be considered constitutional?
NYPD's "stop and frisk" policy
random bag screening at public transit entrances
Anything the TSA does
