I know this is overdone and probably annoying by now, but thank you for being a role model to thousands of girls from all over the world.

Literally Scully is the reason why I (and a plethora of friends) became scientists and constantly challenge society's gender roles.

Only you could have made that Special Agent oh so fucking special.

Venturing into the unknown equipped with only a government issued flashlight and some serious wit and logic, Scully gave more hope to young women everywhere than David Duchovny's sex addiction announcement.

Even 20 years later, you still inspire hard-work, perseverance, and teamwork to us fans.

Occasionally, I will turn on The X-Files and still be overwhelmed with that amalgamating feeling of excitement, creeped out, and mentally sparred.

Have you ever seen the drummer at the time pass out from sheer exhaustion after playing "Perfect Drug" or any other song? As a drummer myself, I am constantly awed by the cacophonous harmony of the drumbeat of NIN.

I have to start with something from the heart.

When you ended season 7 with Mulder being abducted and Scully being pregnant, I threw everything in the vicinity of where I was sitting on my bed watching TV.

And I couldn't believe that you’d make us wait until November 4th (yes I remember the exact date - I had a countdown on a calendar) and it was currently May at the time.

November was so far away, and then I heard something about cryogenics.

Totally obsessed 13 year old me thought about it

There’s also the question that has been bothering me for quite some time, and it involves the romantic side of their relationship (you probably hate this).

Originating from the beginning of the series and progressing in the first couple of seasons, did you ever think it possible that Mulder and Scully would fall in love?

Besides that David and Gillian’s chemistry is off the charts, did you ever anticipate it going down that particular path?

Eventually it probably got to a point that was just too ridiculous to ignore anymore.

Love was definitely there in a platonic way from almost the beginning, but then I honestly think that Mulder and Scully got into too much shit together and came out the other side to NOT have fallen for each other.

I think all fans and crew members, and (I might be making this up) even David and Gillian, saw the the inevitable, because no matter what, they were always there for each other.

Even 6 year old me (yes, that is how old I was when I started watching but don’t tell my mom she’ll be so pissed) knew that Mulder and Scully belonged together.

Veering back to my question, I guess I just want to ask at what point did you realize “oh shit, they are totally in love with each other LIKE THAT; and were you with Frank Spotnitz?

Even after all these years, you still got it (the new TV show)!

Okay, I really want to see this showdown between Ricky and Kenny Powers. This must happen!
