To those who've bothered reading and learning about things, yeah. The general public is going to hear "Molten Salt Nuclear Reactor' and by and large the only bit that's going to stay with them is "Nuclear Reactor."
I don't want to rain on the parade here, but I think it's a legitimate question for the filmmakers as half the battle really is educating the public regarding the difference in reactor types. I think a wonderful example is the mass exodus away from nuclear power in Germany. They haven't had a serious incident in 25 years, yet because of concerns from Fukishima, the German government announced no more plant license extensions and no new plants.

How do you plan to get people to differentiate between "Thorium Molten Salt Reactor" and "Nuclear Reactor?"
