How do you explain the following?
High levels of capital mobility and capital flows - i.e. exactly what you are advocating for correlate very strongly with the frequency and severity of financial crises? -- http://www.voxeu.org/article/eight-hundred-years-financial-folly
The East Asian tigers that grew to first world status and grew the fastest (Taiwan, South Korea, Japan... and now China) did so using heavily protectionist measures favoring local industry.

This isn't the first time they've tried the AMA route either:
https://pay.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1qvscr/iama_amazon_employee_whos_about_to_be_working_60/
Soon after questions about why her answers were all a bit too positive and her wording was too close to that of the official PR line, BAM - the account was deleted.
This time they seem to be a bit more circumspect, but the vote counts on this post are mighty suspicious.
These IAmAs look real - fewer upvotes, though - and decidedly not very positive about the job like this one is:

None of them would say this:
All I know is that the FC that I work for is running great and almost every employee loves working there.

How did he get caught? Did the prostitute just rock up to the police station one day and go "hey hey, this guy paid me with some wack dope, yo. Put his ass in jail"?

Yup, it looks exactly like an attempt to counterweight some of the bad press they've been getting recently:
http://www.mcall.com/news/local/amazon/mc-allentown-amazon-complaints-20110917,0,6503103.story ---- "Lehigh Valley workers tell of brutal heat, dizzying pace at online retailer"
http://www.mcall.com/business/mc-amazon-temporary-workers-unemployment-20121215,0,2836585.story ---- "Online retail giant's Lehigh Valley temporary-staffing agency fights aggressively to keep workers from collecting unemployment."
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/02/mac-mcclelland-free-online-shipping-warehouses-labor --- "I Was a Warehouse Wage Slave"
Including this gem (stay classy, Amazon!)
"Well, what if I do start crying?" I ask the woman who warns me to keep it together no matter how awfully I'm treated. "Are they really going to fire me for that?"
"Yes," she says. "There's 16 other people who want your job. Why would they keep a person who gets emotional, especially in this economy?"
- http://gawker.com/what-is-life-like-for-an-amazon-worker-949664345 --- "Amazon says these jobs average around $11 per hour, not a bad wage by retail standards." (not a bad wage? hmm... where else have I heard that phrase?)

This should be the LAPD's new slogan. At least for the next year or two.
