Vice has seriously good reporting

Vice has completely sensationalist bullshit written by amatuers and beginners who want to make a name for themselves by reporting something shocking whether it's true or not. Look at their report on Belfast for God's sake, it's literally fiction, and I hear their videos on Detroit and LA aren't much more true to life. It's just sensationalism, same as you find in the Daily Mail and the National Enquirer.

It wasn't uncommon at all. My grandmother was German, met my grandfather when offering to do soldiers laundry to try and get enough money to eat after they entered Berlin. Eventually they got permission from his CO to marry and move home and like 6 months later my dad was born lol

In fairness Blackpool at that time were pretty down to earth anyway. Their manager Ian Holloway, when they were in the premier league, always brought them lunch in the boot of his car, wrapped in tin-foil, and made them wash their own kit in order to keep them grounded.
