I can say that because of your documentary, I went out and bought a bottle of POM to try it. I wasn't sure if it was helping what your documentary was about, or doing the opposite. It was tasty however.

(I am in no way related to this AMA, but thought this information might be helpful to you).

I just started doing it a while ago as well, but to better my technique I took lessons from a friend. On top of that, you can look in to a movie called Zen of Screaming. There are several techniques on there that helped me improve.

Hey man!

No question here, but a couple of weeks ago I was at an open mic here in Houston and talking to a friend of a friend. He said that one of his friends (you) were on a recent episode of Breaking Bad, but wasn't sure what scene you were in. He described you and I went through and rewatched it and was guessing it was you. Small world! Unfortunately I don't remember the guys name though haha.

Hi Ellar, thanks for taking the time to do this! I saw the film recently and thought it was fantastic, and related to it a ton since I grew up in Texas suburbs as well.

Anyways, since you spent so much of your life making this movie, would you say that the character you were playing effected you personally growing up? As in, do you and your character share any similarities after spending so many years together?

Crif Dogs in Brooklyn has RC. The only place up here I've seen with it, and I missed it from the south!
