  • How much do advanced prosthetics such as the DEKA one cost?
  • About the nerve controlled prosthetics - would you do it if there were a chance for temporary/permanent damage? For example, if the nerve endings rejected the artificial connection and you had to lose more of your real limb. I don't know much about neuroprosthetics, I just imagine that as a new science it is more risky than established ones.
  • Does it bother you if people stare or ask questions (i.e. when you're out in pubic)?

Not to hijack OP's thread, but since the question has been asked several times, it should be understood that regulation is not the silver bullet everyone thinks it is. Take this chart for example; it's easy to see that industries where regulation, and in general, intervention, by the government have become more expensive, less accessible, and less relevant.

Is it understood, either explicitly or implicitly, that sitting at the bar is an invitation for a girl to walk up and talk to you, and possibly more? Another way of asking the same questions: can the bar serve the purpose of any other bar where a guy goes there just for drinks, or only as a facilitator for sex work?

... or even for being mad at me directly

Really? You wouldn't fault someone for holding you directly responsible for something your ancestors did?

Commenter above you said "even for being mad at me directly," large step away from "holding you directly responsible."

But it's not a large step when you consider they are both unjustified.

We'll have to agree to disagree about emotions such as envy and jealousy, because I certainly do think less of someone who regularly lets such emotions get the better of them. Just because someone is poor, unattractive, unintelligent, or whatever, doesn't mean they get treated differently and are allowed to lash out.
