Since joining a newsroom is harder everyday, I hear lots of journalists telling me to opt to go on my own to a warzone or African country where English journalists are rare. What is your view on this?
I struggle everyday to keep up with the torrent of information online. I'm trying to create a media morning diet but it seems hard. Twitter, news outlets, RSS. There's so much to see and read that I always feel I haven't learned anything. What is your advice to really stick to what's important?
