Hello Jon, If you could chose one story from your career and go back and cover it more in depth what would it be and how would you do it? PS: Thanks for the AMA and all your work - reading your books when I was growing up really opened my eyes to the world, challenged a lot of my preconceptions and ultimately that inspired me to chose journalism as a career.

How do stay informed about current affairs and SE Asia? Is it hard to fit in background research alongside your assignments?
