Tebow is obviously a polarizing figure, but as a casual fan i don't have strong feelings towards him one way or another. Can you speak for the feelings that an average NFL player might have towards him? Are they jealous/pissed off about the amount of airtime and spotlight he gets? Or do they view him as beneficial for bringing positive attention to the league?

I'm a Virginia Tech alum, though my time at the school came after the shooting (2010-14).
There is a pretty lively debate in Blacksburg about how to handle the "Cho problem." The most important thing to bear in mind is that the "Virginia Tech family" is a really big deal within our community, and on a personal note that emphasis on community is what made me fall in love with the school.
Now, how do you handle it when a member of your family does something so destructive? Do you turn your back on a family member because they are sick, or do you recognize that to a certain extant the family let him down just as much as he let down the family? On the flip side, is it disrespectful to the 32 members of our community he stole from us to even utter his name?
Every year on the anniversary the school fires a cannon 32 times in honor of our lost brothers and sisters. Each of the 4 years I was there, I've had at least one person wonder to me whether it shouldn't be 33 times.
I hope this sorta made some sense, it's a fairly emotional and confusing thing to write about coherently.
