Okay, I represent the fine denizens of /r/math who in this thread are frustrated with your calculations and how they don't actually calculate the probability of a plagiarized speech.

You've answered the question "what is the probability, given that all speeches contain these fourteen phrases, that some random speech is ordered exactly the same way as Michelle Obama's?" Not "what is the probability that Melania Trump plagiarized her speech?" The actual (frequentist) probability of plagiarism is probably higher.

For starters, this is the wrong way to think about the plagiarism at all. If I were to take MLK's I have a dream speech and swap the first and last words, it would be obvious plagiarism, but your detection method would pass it off as original. More to the point, you're attempting to use an unbelievably simple model to explain something incredibly complicated, which is something that mathematicians are somewhat frustrated by.

I love how in your poetry you use lots of unusual symbols and metaphors, subvert classic ones, and often examine them in a very realistic sense. It's wondeful to see a cancer cell made beautiful or a heart made ugly, and it's a thing I started doing in my own work.

So my question is: what is your favorite unusual symbol or metaphor from your work, and what is a metaphor you want to draw or examine that you haven't yet?

I also really loved the bosses. I was actually kind of sad not to see anything like them in infinifactory.
