Does it bother you when people call big electrical wind turbines 'windmills'? They don't mill anything!

Do people living along the Salish sea/Puget sound really have anything to fear from a Pacific Tsunami? I'm thinking Victoria, Seattle, Vancouver. Anything coming from the wider ocean would get sapped of a lot of energy coming into the sea, and the islands would do a lot of that too, right?

What is the likelihood of a tsunami forming IN the Salish sea? Is it large enough to allow for a devastating tsunami to form?

Did you ever get the sense that your Japanese guards were conflicted with the cruelty and heavy handedness they were expected to mete out? Did they ever show you kindness or at least a sense that what they were doing was wrong?

My question is a mundane one. What are your post climbing rituals? Do you have a particular type of footwear for that "ahhhhhh" moment when your climbing shoes come off? Is it crocs? It's crocs isn't it.
