Probably going to get downvoted/banned but I'm a supply chain professional, currently in Dallas. Questions I have:

  1. How did you decide to use Austin to set up your plant?
  2. What are the biggest logistical challenges you have faced, domestically and internationally, to set up the operation?
  3. .....do you need a new face in your supply chain department?

  1. I see! I thought that it had more to do with Austin as a growing logistical hub.

  2. Interesting. Are you supplying to businesses/hospitals/nursing homes or are you trying to reach individual consumers (like, more retail stuff). Also, do you have plans to work with partner warehouses in the country to make distribution more readily available?

  3. I can definitely try. I think everyone in my industry loves to "underpromise and overdeliver". Fortunately, I have some solid project management experience (working with a telecom company) and most of it is domestic. So, to sum up, I'm not sure if I can make your problem go away but I can definitely make a dent in it.

Yeah, it looks like a retail distribution problem, from what I see. I was on their website and with what Lloyd has said, they seem good on the inbound/production side. It's distributing directly to small consumers, that seems like a problem.

I would really like to know more about how the option to donate masks changes their production strategy (maybe it doesn't).
