Since you're not doing ecommerce, how about doing a wordpress install? If you can do html an your own, you can manage a wordpress install with just a few hours of learning by doing.

Off the top of my head you have two easy solutions:

  1. You are already using godaddy, it's not perfect, but your web site is not mission critical, you can install WP from script from them

  2. Wordpress.com for $17 a year they will host the WP install under your own domain, a bit limited, but low maintenance and in my opinion better than the godaddy solution.

Of course there are better solutions out there, but the 2 above are low budget and low maintenance.

OP: If you want to "look & feel" more like a web site this is what you can do:

  • set the front page to display a page

  • set the blog articles to appear in a page called blog

This look http://wordpress.riverstoreef.com/ is fine enough for a small business like yours!

Put plenty of pics, write about your entrepreneurial experience, put fishcams!!!!
