This sounds odd to me. Why does marriage magically rid a person of a disability?

Sometimes laws or regulations are not really thought through.

That sounds so convoluted & stupid. This is why some disabled people become homeless.

I can understand losing welfare or some other assistance because of a roommate or a marriage.
