I'm guessing that you've experienced some pretty dark skies with good seeing on earth. Could you contrast those conditions with those you experience looking away from the earth on the ISS? I imagine it must be quite spectacular to bypass the atmosphere by going up to low earth orbit.

And do you realistically think it's going to make a difference? Are families going to freeze instead of burning rubber for warmth?

Would you entertain the notion that it mightbe a better return on investment to put everything, globally, being spent on reducing the carbon footprint (or whatever) into furthering technical advancements within the field of nuclear energy or fusion?

As a "young" male in my latter twenties I'm faced with some of the larger question/choices and stand in front of the major turnpikes in life; what choices in life have give you the most?

The answer to that question must be related to your how you feel right now. Has the answer been different between now and the time you made that choice? If so, how has the answer oscillated during your lifetime?
