I'm a former [female] Victoria's Secret employee. I did an AMA about it too. We had a few guys at my store and they pretty much never interacted with customers.
Do you mostly stock or do you work the register too?
Do they make you sell the credit card? ...that card was the bane of my existence.

I broke down in the middle of the store once because the CSL was literally watching my every move to make sure I asked every.single.person if they had one. I could sell the shit out of bras..but alas, they'd put me on card selling.

It was very unfair. Whenever I was working the front rooms (our store was 1600 square feet with 9 different rooms) we would have to greet every customer with:
-have you been properly sized? (Or had your personal space violated?). -have you seen the new makes your tits look uber fake bra?
-here's a sample of our new fragrance! You'll smell like a whore for the rest of the day!
-will you be shopping with your angel card? Oh, you filed for bankruptcy? We don't care.
I seriously had people look at me weird and walk away.

I felt bad for trying to sell it too. I didn't even have the angel card. I couldn't honestly sell something I couldn't stand behind. I can't even shop there anymore.
