I’m an AL-4 voter. For the primaries I was one of 4 people to request a democratic ballot in my entire precinct, but I know bright young minds such as yours can change that number. I am working to get people to your town hall in Lamar County. What points in your plans, have you had the most success with in this area, in speaking to the undecided, largely conservative, voters? What would you recommend I convey to the people of my area to have them consider you as a voice who will work for them?

Literally no one except you said that minorities were poorer than the average American. The fact that these closures negatively affect minorities, especially here in Alabama (I’m an AL-4 voter so i get to see this in action) is not a racist assumption. It is fact. A staggering number of the ID offices which closed in the state of Alabama in response to the “budget crisis” were in areas that are predominantly inhabited by minorities. I.e. they were largely more affected by the office shutdowns than white Americans.

(Yes it’s a local opinion piece, but you can research any of the author’s talking points, they are all fact.)
