Hi Shaq,

No real question, just a huge thanks. About 20 years ago you did a Make-A-Wish with my friend Chris. He had stomach cancer at the time and they flew him and his family out to Orlando to meet you. He would talk about it all the time and joked about beating you in a pickup game. He later became an LAPD Officer and was well respected in his field. Unfortunately, cancer caught up with him again at the age of 30. He passed away two years ago. I still love looking at his picture and found one with you and him in Orlando. I just wanted to say thanks!

Hey Chris, great to see other Berkeley Alums doing great things! What do you think is the best way to help impoverished countries around the world? Direct Aid? Investment? Trendy "buy one give one free" shoes (my least favorite)?
