That is why it is important to realize that survival statistics are always lagging - they don't always reflect the latest and greatest treatments because they haven't been out there long enough.

I visited two Target stores in the weeks following the launch. I was astonished they had done such a lousy job of stocking the stores. Since they didn't tend to have what I wanted, I only went back a few ties when I couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere else.
Was it as obvious to Target employees such as yourself that the entire situation was a major clusterfuck? Did you figure they would somehow realize how badly they had screwed up?

So you might be a perfect example. Hopefully, stem cell therapies will have a significant impact on recovery/survival, but until enough of you have been treated, and enough years have passed, the numbers won't really reflect that.
Good luck!

I was not aware of that. I thought TED and TEDx were the same: speakers paying to speak to a paying audience.

Congratulations!
I am currently reading "The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer". I finding it incredible that almost all progress against cancer has been made in my lifetime, and almost all effective chemotherapies have been developed over my adult life (i.e. past 30 years).
Keep up the fight!
