Insomnia and nighttime panic attacks ruined my life for two years before I realised binge drinking on weekends (for years) had reworked my brain to be in a constant state of withdrawal. I cut out alcohol and coffee after midday and boom. Straight back to sleeping.

Incredible that doctors couldn’t figure this out. Thought I was going to be on Temazepam for the rest of my life.
