It's funny how the pit can sometimes just all of sudden erupt around you. You thought you were well outside the zone, the band launches into a key song, and suddenly you find yourself inside a greatly enlarged pit.

I'm a huge fan of yours since my youth! The first concert I ever saw was your "I can't drive 55" tour. I saw it at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, MI. Krokus opened, and Ted Nugent came out with you for the encore. You guys played the Who's Baba O'Riley and Summertime Blues as part of the encore.
I was about 3 compacted people from the stage, and I had a small banner I threw up on stage, which you picked up and wrapped around your neck. A radio station, WLAV in Grand Rapids, promoted the show, and broadcast it after the fact, which I recorded on a cassette tape. I listened to it about a jillion times. I've seen hundreds of shows since, but that show was probably the best I've ever seen. Definitely burned in my brain forever. Rock on, my friend!
The automod deleted my comment because I didn't ask a question, so here goes: do you still play any Montrose songs at your shows?
