How do you feel about legislators with absolutely no scientific education or background in a particular field creating financially burdensome regulations on companies and thus their consumers solely based on emotion?

No you wouldn't. Not more than once at least. You'd instantly be a pariah to your own party and lose absolutely all power. You'd be back home in what'd be left of your 2 years.

You can't "overturn" SC decisions.
Edit:
For the many responses. Overturning, actually called overruling can only happen from the SC itself, as there is no higher court. As this politician is not in the SC, he can't "overturn" anything and even suggesting it is folly. A constitutional amendment or other subsequent legislative changes may abrogate, not overturn, a SC decision.
