Hmmm, you're right. I was thinking of an old definition it seems. One that required a ritualistic and often sexual component for something to be regarded as a part of serial killing. Which leaves you with the interesting serial killers like Bundy and not boring old organized crime hitmen.

Checked wikipedia "A serial killer is a person who murders three or more people,[1][2] usually due to abnormal psychological gratification, with the murders taking place over more than a month and including a significant break (a "cooling off period") between them". That's more like it :-)

They were probably from one of the other major tribes in Libya. Most of the opposition there came from the two non-Ghaddafi tribes.
