Hi Caitlin! I'm a huge fan of your Youtube series and just finished your book. I think what you're doing is mega important and applaud you for all kinds of things.
Question for you: I know you're a big fan of the family being much more a part of the process after death until burial or cremation or what have you, but do you still feel the same for very violent deaths that leave the body in a super disfigured state (like a suicide, getting hit by a car, ran over by a train, etc.). I assume it would be really distressing to see a mangled corpse of your loved one.
How can you still maintain a close connection to the body and maintain a sense of openness in a situation like this?
