Had plenty of mosquitos in Colorado this year.

I had no idea who you were before clicking here, and I am so thankful I did.

it is not about the war between men and women because the truth behind the women's movement, it was not about men it was about money, and a small group of very powerful women saw the possibility of creating a billion dollar industry by excluding and demonizing masculinity.

As someone who works hard to help people reconnect and develop healthy aspects of femininity and masculinity, just thank you for recognizing how much damage we do to each other by perpetrating the gender war.

Thanks for doing this. This is my first exposure to your work so pardon me if you've addressed this in your published work.

"Raising boys is easier than fixing men."

What's your opinion on that quote and what do you feel are the most important aspects of raising children with healthy notions of femininity and masculinity and what's the best way of helping them develop those notions?

I'm incredibly passionate about this field and use the work of Dr. Robert Moore and David Deida in my work. Are you familiar with them?

Thanks for sharing your story. This is much more common than most people realize. You are a very courageous girl.

hypnosis is merely an agreement between the subject and the operator

Hypnosis does not require explicit agreement. The use of covert and conversational hypnosis is a skill and an expert can prime and lead your thoughts in a very discrete and direct manner without your knowledge and to your detriment (con men, etc.)

It may well have some limited value as a psychiatric tool

There's a good amount of research out there on the clinical effectiveness of hypnosis. As a practitioner, saying it's of "limited value" is a disservice to the efficacy skilled practitioners are able to bring to the lives of their clients.

it's not a "power," it's not a "force,"

Agreed, it's a skill and state that can be induced in a variety of ways. Is saying it's not a power or force supposed to discredit it somehow? It's a specific way of influencing and guiding the cognitive functions of the brain.

it's a role-playing game, and only highly emotional persons will react.

False. Within the context of a television or stage show, absolutely. There are people who are highly suggestible and they are the ones chosen. Given a 1 on 1 interaction (even in a public place) without time constraints or showmanship, a skilled practitioner can hypnotize virtually anyone.
