This is why my 10th grade programming teacher drilled it into our heads repeatedly. The first thing she made us check was a list of inputs that we needed to catch and throw an error. Negative numbers, too large of a number, letters, symbols, empty boxes. Every bad input you could imagine we had to account for.

Unless you're Sid Meier apparently.

I always find Event Horizon fits better as a Warhammer movie, but I definitely see the Lovecraftian influences.

I'm guessing there's an organization sponsoring this that made both the AMA and the Twitter proof. The Twitter proof does mention this reddit handle in it so I would say its legit.

Edit: As it says in the original post, he's speaking at the Spyscape Museum and this is an advertisement for it. That's why Spyscape is the one who made the thread and Twitter verification but Daniel Hoffman is using his own reddit account to answer questions.
