Just thought of some things I could add.

Best thing about living on the road: Having a front row seat to the entire country, and meeting people.

Worst thing about living on the road: Having no host, sleeping in a Wal Mart parking lot, and eating a cold dinner of .67 cent/pack hot dogs, potato chips and cucumber slices.

Sure! Warren said "If you built a factory and got rich, that's great, but you had workers and road that other people built, and firefighters protecting your factory, so you have to pay back into the system that helped you."

I saw people arguing, saying that was communism, socialism, stealing from the rich, etc. I thought, maybe the metaphor is too complicated to understand. After all I've never owned a factory. I don't know anyone who's ever owned a factory.

But I understand pie. The maniFEAST is basically my version of the "Factory" speech. When I make a pie, it doesn't belong to me. It belongs to all the people who contributed, from the farmer to the truck driver, to any random person off the street who paid a tax on a movie ticket, because their taxes helped build the roads.

Like I said, it was just a facebook rant at first. But I really wanted to show people that I was willing to put action behind my words. What better way than to actually give away the pie that I claim belongs to everyone? And that's exactly what we've done.

We are completely supported by donations. We put out a tip jar at most of our events, and we have a paypal button on the blog. It helps that our overhead is low - we live in the truck camper and eat a lot of rice and tuna.

Weird ... plenty! It's always interesting talking to other people who are out on the street, raising awareness for their own causes. The Hare Krisha folks always seem really into what we're doing, but they get put off because we use cow butter in our pie crust.

My favorite pie is peach pie.

Peach pies and apple pies are always very popular.

Most interesting story ... well right now we're being hosted by the mayor of Jenkintown Pennsylvania, because he found us on reddit! That's probably one of the most interesting things to happen to us so far.
