This AMA is fucking great.

People hear nuclear power and think of Chernobyl and Fukushima and panic. But investments in developing Gev IV Reactors and installing Gen III reactors would yield more energy at lower costs and lower risk as well producing less waste and using up some of the waste that has been left over from older power plants. Obviously this is expensive but it's important.

This is honestly the only way we can provide the huge amounts of energy we use and are going to use in the future, yes you can subsidize some areas with renewable sources like hydro/wind too but those alone will not be enough because we need constant stable energy.

What were your priorities in sending relief in this incident and how soon were you aware that this typhoon was going to strike before you began to set things in motion? Also how do you decide what current/upcoming events/disasters you should take a focus on?
