Do you have advice for parents so they can avoid having to send their kids to one of your facilities?

Thank you for your reply and this AMA. Instead of asking my kids not to gawk, I tell my kids to ask if it seems like an appropriate thing to do. I find that it helps my kids not to obsess about the differences but talk about how people can still be important even though they are as able-bodied as we are. I hope I said this right, I don't mean any disrespect. One day, I noticed my kids staring at an older man with a metal hook for a hand. Knowing my 7 year old and his fascination with superheroes, I told him to ask the guy about his hand. I figured I'd take my chances. He fascinated my son about tales of his "engineered" hand, my son thought it was the greatest and told him he wanted a hand like that too. You could tell the older guy was tickled. I gave the man a thankful look and he was very good about it, thanked my son for asking rather than staring.
