What do you expect? This is not an AMA. This is a "Ask my publicist some easy to answer questions and my publicist will give you fake answers that sound real, and maybe I'll give my input if he can't come up with a real sounding answer. I just want to get my name out there again to stir up hype for my new show/movie/product."

I'm really getting sick of this fucking subreddit. On most other subreddits, reddit highly frowns upon self-promotion and spam. If you were a nobody on other subreddits and advertised your blog or product or anything, you get downvoted to oblivion as spam.

In /r/IAmA, it is not only ignored, but highly encouraged to be a free advertising platform for celebrities. It's no longer a platform for real, genuine, no-hold Q&A that celebrities would come to just be a "real person" and talk about anything with no agenda. Don't you dare have an IAmA like, "IAmA guy name Jim Johnson. AMA!", where the content will be "I'm Jim. You may know me as a guy who was riding the bus next to you. I went to college a few years ago. Oh, and I have a cat. AMA! Oh, and I HAVE A NEW BLOG I'M LAUNCHING SOON! CHECK IT OUT!"

Even "her" twitter account's verification is just a tweet saying "Come ask me questions live now on (link)". They're not even trying with a picture of her to at least show she was in the same room watching TV as a publicist typed up most of the answers with some input here and there.

"Her" twitter account's bio? "The Official Site for Tiffani Thiessen"

How much more spam and manufactured publicist marketing crap does it get? It's a marketing handle for her. If you skim quickly through the tweet photos, there's not even one that seems "real", but all professional photos from photo shoots with SLR's approved for publication material. Almost every tweet mentions the show or hashtags it.

Anyways, I'm not specifically ragging on Ms. Thiessen. She very well may have had input in here. I'm just getting sick of /r/IAmA being a blatant free advertising platform for those who are already established. Reddit is supposed to be an open platform that gives a voice to those who don't have a voice equally as those with one. I mean, if it was celebrities willingly coming here and genuinely posting and answering as themselves? Cool. Let them post without the free help of the sidebar on the right. Let them be at the same level as everyone else. But reddit needs to stop being high and mighty against "little guy" self promotion if they're going to keep pushing /r/IAmA the way they are.

  • Did you ever fear for your life in any of your trips?

  • Are there any locations we as Americans would be shocked to know what they're really like compared to what we perceived them as? Such as, are there any that you felt more in danger or less in danger than you thought before you got there; or, they're less different from our own cultures than we may think?

  • I know that North Korea has been answered how you got there, but what about Kabul, Afghanistan? Is there actual tourism there now?

Thanks for doing these videos! Easily the most beautiful things on the internet that will always put a smile on my face every time I watch them to remember that regardless of all of the bad in the world, we're all still human and we all deep down just want to dance and have fun.

So, just like any normal flight I've been on.
