How can you be a Quaker/Friend and not be a Christian? That's like saying you're a woman but not a human being.

Also, I'm confused as to what grades you were homeschooled for.

Not all Quakers consider themselves Christians. I feel uncomfortable saying that I am Christian, because I do not believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God who died for my sins. I do not wish to be dishonest.

That seems odd to me. I'm reading the articles about the different Quaker denominations on Wikipedia and I'm having a lot of trouble understanding them. But all them seem to have some connection to the New Testament/Jesus regardless of whether he's seen as the son of God or not. Quaker minister AMA?

I was homeschooled, totally or partly, for 5th - 9th grades.

Sounds like poor training and poor management/enforcement. This should almost never happen.

Regardless of what you believe about Jesus, Quakerism is still a New Testament-based religion. That makes Quakers Christians. Similar to Unitarian Universalism. If you read about it, in some ways it barely seems like a religion at all, but it's New Testament based, so it's Christian.
