Also an attorney, also a recent law school graduate. This definitely seems like an advertising violation and gave me pause. This is something I would never even think of doing. There’s no way anyone with as little experience as OP and myself should be holding themselves out as an expert in anything legal. Also, as others have pointed out below, the way he presents this is troublesome. Part of my job involves working with inpatient mental health patients, some of whom undergo ECT or have undergone ECT. This isn’t a treatment form that doctors throw out willy-nilly. This is a last ditch effort when the usual medications and treatments have failed. This is not just used for situational depression due to relationship issues. This whole post is very troubling.

Looked him up. OP graduated in law school in 2017. Same year as me, same state as me. This is so unprofessional and such bad form. It’s so embarrassing. Also looked up his firm. It looks like his dad is the “K” in DK Law Group. This whole post is a shit show. Does daddy know he’s posting this?

Was there any drama between the contestants? I have a hard time believing that a group of elementary-middle school age kids get along with everyone and don’t form cliques or have any drama. It just seems so wholesome, which is why I love watching it, but I’m wondering what goes on behind the scenes.

Thank you! This is definitely a learning experience for OP. I wonder if his firm knows he’s doing this. I looked his firm up, and I think his dad is the “K” in DK Law Group. I can’t imagine this was approved beforehand.

I am too. Like I said a bit higher, I’m an attorney, but I work in mental health. Before I started this job, I didn’t know ECT was still an approved medical treatment. It has such a stigma, and bullshit like this perpetuates it. This is so unfortunate. Of course there are risks associated with it, but the benefits often outweighs the risks. I wonder how much time OP has actually spent with people with serious mental illnesses that aren’t responding to treatment.
