We're kind of a contradiction actually. People like to say this, but then we line up and voluntarily submit ourselves to invasions of liberties for an illusion of safety all the time.

I listened to this episode for the first time on a road trip and my wife and I had to pull over for this segment it was so good.

You can see the milky way from earth in darker areas, so I can only assume you can from space (provided you're on the dark side of the earth).

I actually run into this a lot as I always get double chicken. I usually remind the cashier just to be honest, but occasionally if I feel I got skimped on something I will keep quiet. Same with guacamole. If I feel I got a fair serving, I'll make sure to remind the cashier, but a lot of times, they just give you the first little dollop that comes off the spoon without any effort to knock off the rest into your bowl. I do agree with the commenter below that 1/2 and 1/2 is an excellent strategy to get more for no extra charge.
