If you do this: Get the releases (that allow you to film the neo-Nazi audience and use/show the footage) signed before the start of the feature presentation. Film and record the audience with multiple cameras. Film and record and interview them beforehand and afterwards. Then take all that Big Brother-style footage and cut it down to the best bits.

The original CGA card had had this odd layout/form factor that required space beyond the 8 bit ISA slot, which made it impossible to plug into unmodified 16-bit ISA slots and difficult to plug into even many of the 8-bit ISA slots, due to requiring space where chips on the mainboard could get in the way.

Why?

Was there any reason for this design? Was it the result of an insufficient specification? Was it to guarantee only one of these clunkers could physically fit into a PC?

Also, it's 04:00 in Iran. Isn't this an odd moment to post?

(I'm probably mostly talking out of my arse here, because I don't anywhere near sufficiently know what I'm talking about either, but with that in mind:)

The OP is an Iranian-American academic from New Jersey addressing mostly the Tehrangeles demographic and the US public and US politicians.

Even with just the little, extremely basic knowledge of US meddling in Iran Iranian history and basic international politics that I have, It already seems extremely dubious to me that his "Iranian" presidential campaign could possibly do any actual good.

It is therefore my working hypothesis that this is basically a stunt/political posturing, probably with ulterior motives.

He's been on reddit before. (My thoughts when I saw this post: O hai. You again.) And AFAIK nothing's changed since then. I'm highly skeptical of his chances, his ability, or even his will to effect genuine positive independent Iranian home-grown grassroots progress. On the other hand, if –and this is just an example of the many idiotic posturing possibilities– if Iran bans his candidacy (and there are plenty of grounds for that, from the viewpoint of the Iranian state), then he can point and proclaim how horrible and undemocratic they are, and quite a few Americans and Iranian Americans will probably take that as read and further vindication of their preexisting views. And what with the US already constantly threatening to attack Iran and already waging an economic war against it, such a propaganda coup would probably only make those things worse. Maybe much worse...

In short, I remain unconvinced that the OP is actually up to any good, but he certainly keeps showing up, so top marks for attendance.
