Can you help me understand how black holes can radiate away their mass through Hawking radiation? How is the mass/ energy leaving the gravity well of a black hole.

It is said that Hawking radiation is a result of quantum field interactions near the event horizon, but this doesn’t translate for me intuitively.

That explains why they may not contact us directly but I see two problems:

1 that solution is not exclusive, there are people on our own planet who talk to the deer and forrest animals for reasons of delusion or that they simply can. All it takes is one out of billions of possible aliens to do it simply because they can and there’s contact.

2 it doesn’t explain why we don’t see the evidence of those civilizations, especially type 3. If alien civilizations are truly harnessing galaxies of stars for power, wouldn’t we see the infrared and gravitational signature of a galaxy of obscured stars behind Dyson swarms?

If Einstein’s theories predict that a black hole would be a perfect singularity, but most physicists think this is not the case, is there any sensible theoretical explanation as to what the structure of a black hole would look like inside the event horizon geometrically and with relation to their matter density? If neutron stars have a specific density as electron orbits collapse and the weak nuclear force is overcome, and strange matter is even more dense as the strong nuclear force is overcome, is there a specific density of black holes per unit volume? Or is this just the wrong way to think of it?
