Seems like they’re trying to get people to downgrade from car, not improve from regular bike.

How much do you make as a product manager? I’m a Mech Eng and want to make the switch to product management as I want more breadth of scope. What is your relevant experience/education needed to be a product manager?

Not necessarily. I live 10 miles from my job. Whether there are bike paths or not, 10 miles is 10 miles. I could e-bike that but definitely can't bike it (for me). The biggest barrier to getting people on two wheels is that it's HARD.

Secondly, bike path infrastructure is a government undertaking, not something a private corporation can do in any capacity. Doesn't make sense to start a company that just paves bike lanes.

Finally, I agree that exclusively trying to make a profit isn't a sustainable method to get to a cleaner planet, but this is one of the better more accessible solutions imo. Definitely better than electric cars.

i totally agree. city planning in the US especially is atrocious. Just saying the onus isn't on this company to do this, and it's better that they do this while we work on getting the cities we want/need rather than not
