Thanks! This maybe irrelevant, but how did NASA detect asteroids like the Halloween one coming up? They move quickly, don't emit light, and are relatively small.

How are these meteors detected before we see them burn up? I'm assuming they are too small to reflect enough light for telescopes to pick them up.
