Here's the good news: they're truly closer to a treatment for AIDS than they've been in the 25 years I've been working in the lab business. It will be here in your lifetime, probably in the next 10 years.

I sincerely hope it won't come to define your life as it did for so many I know (and knew) who contracted it in the 80's. Hope!

What the hell. Really. Tree nuts have some of the most severe reactions associated with them. The type of reaction you have can also change dramatically, so just because you got by with Benedryl this time doesn't mean you will next time.

Look into an Auvi-Q. It's new and very small - not like a bulky Epi-Pen.

So did doctors confirm that there was a change in your brain rhythm during these periods? Or when you say you died three times, do you mean that you had three separate out-of-body experiences?

It might be helpful if you could expand your original post to include more details and a timeline of what happened when. For example, were you in a coma when all three near death incidences occurred? Or did you have consciousness between them?

As a mom who has been told "in the next 5 years" for almost 20 years now, I'm curious as to which treatment you're referring to.
