  1. What are your favorite chords and compositional tricks that you use?

  2. Music reviews often comment on how beautifully complicated your harmonies are. Do you put lots of thought and consideration into each chord movement, or do you just jam at the piano and write down what sounds good?

Interesting, I tend to save the main theme for last for some reason.

To the other game composers reading this thread: do you usually write the main theme at the start or the end of the project?

Edit: Thanks for the advice, everyone! New soundtrack starts in a week or so and I just flipped our planning schedule around so that I can do the main theme first this time :)
