I would imagine not after killing someone. I don't know how I could sleep at night if I had done that, self defense or not. That's a person with parents and siblings and nieces and nephews and grandmas; an entire family bulldozed and shattered by their loss.

My uncle had a tumor on his optic nerve which required surgery and an eye patch. He didn't want to scare his grandkids and the medical situation was stressful enough, so he sat on his porch and pretended to have a wooden leg. It was just the breath of fresh air our family needed. Fun to be a pirate! I miss him.

I have a family member who is a CO. All their bills, rent, etc are under another family member's name as well as his license plates being blocked out (unsearchable). These are very common safety measures in this area as far as I understand.

My SO and I borrowed his car for a trip because it was stick shift (ie better gas mileage) and got pulled over and questioned regarding that. Apparently the county we were driving through didn't take kindly to those COs (who knows why).

I have a brother who has chosen a lifestyle that's very downtrodden. Sleeping on people's couches, drugs, etc. I'm sure he could play a good homeless person and get a lot of money that way. Knowing that has changed my whole outlook on homelessness.

That being said, if I ever see a homeless family with children I try to run to the grocery store for items they might need. It was something my mom did growing up and made a lasting impact on me. Whatever their parents choices, the kids don't deserve to suffer. My family was pretty poor growing up and there were many times someone gave us a gallon of milk or a pack of diapers. They were so grateful because they often didn't know how they were going to make it.

I try to keep my love for people and my logic brain both in check.

My neurologist said I was mm away from qualifying, but they don't see people who have issues with it unless they're like 5mm (or something like that). Despite the fact I suffered from chronic, daily migraines and had to enter homeschool.
