IMO, the character Victor is someone that I really enjoyed in the show. I binged it in four days but in episode six, right before that tense situation by the water, the most beautiful scene happens in the show. This is why I really liked the show, because Victor and the grandfather and grandson had the most remarkable connection in that scene. It made me feel for the characters and I felt like I was watching season 4 of the Wire with the school kids. Y’all sure did a fantastic job of using attachment points and references. Great portrayal of the other side of the world that most Americans do not get to see. I can’t imagine how many families have been torn apart by this hatred and it’s nice to see an angle which shows the humanity within one another. 🤘🏽✊🏽
