I have been somewhat (very) seriously considering starting a little bookstore of my own. Books and reading are my passions and I’m hoping to find a way to make it into my profession. Any advice, suggestions, thoughts, tips, or warnings about opening up a shop?

What do you think about use of ADHD medication for people in recovery? I stopped taking my meds almost 6 years ago when I was getting clean from benzos and opiates. Now I’m at a point where I feel like my professional life is increasingly more difficult because I choose not to take the meds and I’m wondering if there is a safe/responsible medical alternative for people with a history of drug abuse.
