What sort of qualifications does a NASA engineer typically have? Is there also a personality associated (for example, Google looks for good leaders who admit when they're wrong) with the ideal hire? How many typically come out of grad school in, say, Caltech?

How can I convince my friends that there are more important things than what some guy said about homosexuality, like the fact that the OpenNet Initiative says the USA censors the web as much as China, or the destruction of our 4th amendment through PRISM?

Also, would you abolish the NSA completely or just the data-mining programs? Is there anything the intelligence and defense community do that you approve of?
