There is a very interesting case in rugby. A person who went through puberty as a man is incredibly strong compared to one who went through as a woman. The result is that even if they are now a woman, there is a significant risk they will very seriously injure the other players (with a few tragic examples already). Rugby as a sport was forced to conclude, for safety, not to allow them to compete.
