Sometimes people have really hard pregnancies, like constant, long term morning sickness, swollen feet/ankles, bad acne, sore back, sore muscles, fatigue, etc. It just sucks.

Other people's bodies seem to react really well to being pregnant. Their hair is thick and grows like crazy, their skin is clear and glows, they get lots of energy, and just generally feel amazing.

Most people fall into a middle ground between the two (my skin cleared up while pregnant, but I have a very short torso, so breathing was hard at the end), but there is a group that fall into one extreme or the other. Sounds like OP is one of them.

not enough upvotes in the world for that last question.

You obviously don't get around the healthcare field much. I know respiratory therapists, radiology techs and oncologists who smoke/smoked. (only reason most quit is to get a break on their health insurance premiums).

meth is the worst. We had probably every drug out there waltz into the ER at some point and the only time I was legit scared to go in the room was the guy tripping on meth. it took our APO, 2 security guards (who look like linebackers for the NFL), 3 male nurses (all ex-armed forces active duty) to hold him down long enough to sedate/restrain. and it just goes from kinda weird to off the wall in a second.
